Setting Up the blaxxun Contact

3D VRML Virtual Reality Viewer

Note: You must first have blaxxun Contact Installed before using this set up page.

Click Here to Open a New Browser Window into the

Enjoey Designs 3D Virtual Reality Art Gallery Lobby.

As soon as you see the Enjoey Designs

Welcome Sign with textures on the walls,

Click the screen and then Hit

Ctrl + F9.

***This will bring up the Preferences Dialog window below***

1. Direct 3D Tab:

Change the Fullscreen Mode to match the Screen area of your monitor.

***(You can check your monitor's resolution by right-clicking your Desktop, go to Properties,Then click on Settings)***

Then check the Smooth Textures box, and the Anti Aliasing box.

*** Render Options Tab ***

2. Render Options Tab:

Change the Target Frame Rate FPS to 30.

*** Performance Options Tab ***

3. Performance Options Tab:

Change the Max. Texture size to 1024.

*** Sound Tab ***

4. Sound Tab:

Check the Use Intel RSX 3D Sound if installed box.

*** General Tab ***

5. General Tab:

Check the run full speed box.

*** Caching Tab ***

6. Caching Tab:

I didn't change anything on this Tab.

*** Cache Settings Tab ***

7. Cache Settings Tab:

Change the Amount of Disk space to use to 500 MB.

Then change the Amount of Disk space to keep free to 50 MB and click OK.

If you experience any loading problems try the Empty Cache now . . . button.

*** One Last Thing ***

8. One Last Thing:

Right-Click the screen and go to Graphics and make sure to check

Smooth, Textured, and Smooth Textures.

Then Refresh your browser and close this browser window.

These are the settings that I found worked best for the

Smoothest Performance on a wide variety of computers.

If you see blurry textures after changing the settings

and refreshing your browser window then you need to reboot,

or your Video Card needs an Upgrade.

Now You are Ready to Enjoy

the Visually Stimulating Worlds, on the Web,
